Lost Shoe Brewing & Roasting Company founded in 2018 by JP & Melynda Gallagher acquired a new location for their brewery/taproom/café in downtown Marlborough, Massachusetts. The name of the company was an homage to the city’s history, once known for its bustling shoe factories, and the owners wanted to translate that regard into the brand identity. I was thrilled to provide an SOW covering every possible need they might have or come to need later, like a variation of the logo for their run club, a separate mark for their mocktails, or an anniversary mural.

In an earlier stage of the brand development as a part of the logo process, I had included an “LS” monogram concept inspired by the pattern of tied shoelaces. When JP & Melynda decided to use a unique, separate mark for their mocktails this is exactly what they had in mind.
