The ZINK Zero-Ink printing system is the first completely new printing technology in nearly 30 years. It requires no ink cartridges, toners, or ribbons, and prints full-color in a single pass.

All of the colors required for high-quality, photographic printing are embedded in the water/tear/smudge-resistant, economical, and environmentally friendly ZINK paper.

In the early days of ZINK Imaging, while the products were still in development, I was asked to create a series of “design packs” for everyday use: labels, birthday/holiday cards, invitations, stickers, etc. I also provided illustrations for the user manual and was asked to anthropomorphize one of the printers into a loveable little character they called “Clio”.
